LOCATION: Bldg. 955, Eglin AFB, FL

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Primary duties include: Assign and audit the work of E-OMS finance personnel; engaged in the more critical and confidential aspects of finance; responsible for the development of policies, systems, special financial studies, etc. of major importance; performs difficult accounting work on involved projects and problems; requires broad conceptual judgment, initiative and ability to deal with complex accounting issues; works with confidential data, which if disclosed, might have significant internal or external effect.

GENERAL DUTIES: Reporting to the RT&T CFO, this position has general responsibility for supervising the finance team, and external customer and corporate reporting functions for the EOMS contract.

OTHER DUTIES: Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of accounting/finance management experience in a government-contracting environment. Must have a thorough understanding of general accounting practices. Must have a thorough knowledge of GAP and DCAA accounting procedures. Must have expert proficiency in MS word, Excel, and Power Point software programs. Experience with Deltek CostPoint and reporting tools plus. Experience as a supervisor/manager. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Secret security clearance. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Supports E-OMS operational objectives. Observes company Quality, Safety, Environmental, Security and Administrative policies; supports Process Improvement.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work activities are normally performed in an environmentally controlled area in an office setting on Eglin AFB.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position will be subject to substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; and requires very little lifting or moving of heavy objects or materials and require very little lifting or moving of heavy objects or materials. May require sitting for long periods of time.
